Wedding Venues
The list below gives the names and links to the various wedding venues I have photographed weddings at or have future bookings for. I am a 'Preferred Supplier' to some of these venues. This is just based on blatant favouritism on my part!!!
Yoghurt Rooms
Located between East Grinstead and Forest Row on the Edge of Weir Wood Reservoir, The Yoghurt Rooms is a fun quirky barn venue on a working farm. Fully licensed for weddings in the barn or outside in the Pergola this is a very different venue that gives you a blank canvas to do pretty much whatever you want.
Located deep in the heart of the Sussex Countryside with stunning views of the South Downs this is a recently renovated Barn venue on a working farm. There are vast rolling fields, some cattle and sheep but the venue itself now leads in the wedding business. Run by Jamie Kensett a very friendly bloke. Prices are highly competitive as at the time of writing this is a new start-up.
Hell Fyre Barn, Sharpenhyrst Farm, Itchingfield, Horsham. RH13 0NN
Genuinely one of the most stunning barn locations set in the most stunning part of the Sussex Weald I have ever seen. Nestled on a working farm in the shadow of the South Downs with stunning fields of crops, grass and woodland these views alone are breathtaking. I realise I used the word 'stunning' three times in that sentence but there' no other description for it. The barn itself has been lovingly restored by John and Louise and 'rustically furnished'. 'Off the beaten track' is another phrase and it truly is. but well worth the visit and discovery. Get in touch with Louise by email and click on the link.
Sat atop the North Downs of Surrey with spectacular views, this is a beautiful venue that I have photographed several weddings at over the years. The photo below is from the wedding of Susan and David Oliver summer 2016.
Without doubt my favourite wedding venue. Highly underrated, superb value for money and set in a stunning old mansion house with spectacular grounds overlooking a large park and woodland. The quality of the light here is always fantastic, the staff helpful and the Meridian Hall is also perfect for small or large weddings. I have photographed several weddings here and never been disappointed. Credit has to go to Jennie the Gardener and the Town Council for maintaining this venue. The picture below is from Trudy and Nik's wedding summer 2016.
Coltsford Mill is just outside Oxted in Surrey. A stunning location, I photographed the wedding of Rosie Pyner and Mark Tassell here in 2015. They were married in Lingfield at the church of St Peter & St Paul and drove to Coltsford Mill for their reception.
The Ravenswood Hotel is without doubt one of the nicest wedding venues, especially on a summers day. With extensive cared for grounds, quirky little nooks inside and out, and the the BEST (make that only) getting ready room at any venue this is one of the top venues in the South.
Another stunning location, hidden from view between Lingfield Village and East Grinstead. The grounds are stunning as is the property. Elizabeth and Saul were married here as shown in the photo below.
I have a wedding booked here for the summer of 2017, Lisa Roberts and Nico Lopez and can't wait to bring back some photos of this venue. It has a fantastic reputation and the website looks great. Engagement shoot there in March!
Another fantastic venue bang in the middle of a huge Golf club. Beautiful grounds as you can imagine. I have three weddings lined up there in the next 18 months. The picture below is from the engagement shoot of Adam and Lisa due to become Mr & Mrs Tidy summer 2017.
Situated at the door of Box Hill in Surrey (Dorking) this is another stunning hotel with beams, ancient history and stunning grounds. The picture below is from the wedding of Ian and Natalie 2015.
Another big old hotel with stunning grounds and lots of beams way out in the countryside. Kirsty and Scott were married here as in the picture below.
A stunning country club again set in the deep countryside out towards Ockley in Surrey. Graham and Mel were married here.
One of those places that is probably very underrated as a wedding venue and yet very old and unique in every respect. This picture was Simon and Blanche in the summer of 2015. The Best Western Brighton hotel was directly opposite.
