Cooden Beach Magic - Again!

Well they did it! Sharon and Andy became the new Mr & Mrs Fox when they tied the knot on a scorching hot day on Friday 26th May 2017 at the beautiful Cooden Beach Hotel just outside Eastbourne. And what a hot day it was. Not a cloud in the sky, an azure blue sea and a fresh breeze that helped a great deal. This is my third wedding at this venue and it just gets better. The hotel has undergone some renovation over the past year making it an even better venue for a beach wedding. Who needs the Caribbean when it gets like this was!!

Andy and Sharon originally hail from Croydon but moved to Eastbourne. Sharon's sons were ushers and her best friend was Maid of Honour with her other Bridesmaids and ring bearers provided by the Best Man and his partner! Make-up was provided by the amazing Kate Bishop (www.katebishopmakeup.com) at the hotel.

I took some photos of the work in progress and managed to get the Groom and his Best Man outside in the sun for a bit of mucking about with the Rings before he signed his life away! Then it was off for the official bit. This was held outside in bright sunlight. Before long Andy was in tears as he said his vows.

And then the real fun began. Everyone was kissing everyone it seemed. Sharon's sons mucked about with flowers and trying to fly and the little children did what they always do at weddings........they ran everywhere all of the time and threw stones from the beach at the photographer!!

Then all that was left was the speeches and the ritual humiliation of the Groom by the Best Man followed by cake cutting, a near miss with a large knife for the Groom and crazy dancing.
